Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Radiology Technologist-PRN to assist with diagnostic imaging procedures. Under the supervision of the CNO, you will prepare patients, explain the imaging process, and position patients to obtain high-quality cross-sectional images.

The role requires state licensure in Diagnostic Radiography, ARRT registration, and a commitment to continuing education.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.

Under the supervision of the CNO, the Radiology Technician is responsible for preparing the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process of the scans to the patient and properly positioning the patient to capture the appropriate images. The Technologist correctly operates equipment in order to produce cross-sectional images of patient's bones, organs and tissue.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure in Diagnostic Radiography required
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in Medical Imaging field (not including school).
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
• Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
