Qualifications

• Registered by ARRT or eligible to take the registry with a one year grace period for new graduates from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Texas Department of Health (MRT) Certification or a temporary Certification (TMRT) is required.
• Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Assumes responsibility for assigned duties promptly and efficiently.
• Complies with instructions from supervisor to whom responsible.
• Contributes to the overall success of the Radiology team.
• Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers and other University Health System employees, patients and guests.
