Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota seeks a Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic team. You will perform complex exams, coordinate equipment, and ensure patient safety while delivering timely results and maintaining equipment in a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and current licensure as required by state.
• CPR certification maintained.
• Minimum 2 years radiography training in an accredited program.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment and exams.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofreads, and mails results of the exams.
• Coordinates multiple factors to achieve a quality exam in appropriate timeframe.
• Utilize radiation safety devices.
• Attends departmental in-services and other staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports all malfunctions or breakage appropriately.
