Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiology Program required.
• 1-2 years of Radiologic Technology experience.
• CA Radiology Tech license (MRAD:CA) required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Fluoroscopy Tech (FLRAD:CA) required.
• Expanded IV Therapy Course (EIV) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
• Establishes presence of consent prior to treatment/procedures.
• Completes initial care within required time frames.
• Ensures physical care includes all pertinent body systems.
• Incorporates cultural and ethnic factors into care.
• Correctly differentiates between normal/abnormal findings.
• Educates patients on procedures and communicates with physicians and the allied health team.
