Job summary
Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate X-ray equipment, position patients, and produce diagnostic radiographs as ordered by physicians. This ongoing staff role requires ARRT-R, Oregon licensure, and BLS.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in radiologic technology and be proficient with PACS, ensuring accurate documentation and safe imaging practices in a parish of care that serves the Columbia River Gorge region.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred.
- ARRT-R radiography license required.
- OBMI Radiologic Technologist License required in Oregon.
- BLS certification required per AH policy.
- Fluoroscopy license preferred in state of employment.
- BLS certification required by facility policy.
Responsibilities
- Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by physicians.
- Positions and instructs patients prior to examination and adjusts exposure parameters.
- Produces diagnostic images and documents exam information.
- Verifies exams on PACS and reports important information to physicians.
