Wilcox Medical Center, part of Hawaii Pacific Health, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to joining the Imaging department. The role performs professional diagnostic radiographic procedures and supports routine and specialized imaging services for inpatient, outpatient and emergency patients. Location: Wilcox Medical Center.

Schedule: Rotating - 10 Hours; Work Type: Part Time Regular; FTE: 0.500000. Minimum qualifications include a Hawai‘i Radiologic Technologist license and BLS CPR.

• Current Hawai‘i Radiologic Technologist license.

Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai‘i. Wilcox is part of Hawai‘i Pacific Health, one of the state’s leading health care systems and a not-for-profit health care organization with medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers working together to create a healthier Hawai‘i.

The Imaging department at Wilcox Health, recently named the Wilcox Family Imaging Center, is a full-service department providing routine and specialized imaging and/or therapeutic procedures for inpatient, outpatient and emergency patients. The department is staffed seven days a week, 24-hours-a-day. Board-certified physician radiologists provide quality care and timely interpretation of radiographic procedures. Services provided include General Radiology (X-rays), Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT or CT scan), Ultrasound, Digital Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear medicine, Echocardiography and Bone Densitometry.

As the Radiology Technologist, you will help to ensure that the Imaging department successfully meets the needs of our patients and their families by performing professional diagnostic radiographic procedures. We are looking for someone with exceptional patient care and technical skills, who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Radiologic Technologist license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year recent radiology or related experience.
