Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or graduate of a radiologic technology program preferred.
• Must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions.
• Licensure: MSDH Medical Radiation Technologist and ARRT.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations using C-arms, portable and stationary radiographic equipment.
• Develop films and evaluate film for technical quality.
• Transport patients to radiology room and prepare/maintain room.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and accessories; perform preventative maintenance.
• Document evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress as required.
• Support the hospital's mission, participate in Performance Improvement and mandatory inservice programs.
