Job summary

Sollis Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist II in New York to operate CT and X-ray equipment, perform diagnostics, and ensure proper data capture in patient records. You will also receive training to run lab testing under a CLIA license and document results in Athena Health EMR and Salesforce.

The role is full-time with 7am–7pm Saturday and Sunday, plus 7pm–7am on Wednesdays, totaling 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment in New York City.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT in Radiography and CT required within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in X-Ray and CT.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens technology.

Responsibilities

• Review physician requests and verify patient identity before scans.
• Perform CT, X-Ray, and MRI per standards.
• Operate imaging equipment and document images.
• Label images with date and patient ID.
• Monitor patient wellbeing and respond to issues.
• Run CLIA-lab tests and assist with QC tasks.
• Enter patient data in Athena Health EMR and Salesforce.
• Perform clerical duties and other tasks as assigned.

Job description

In the role of a Radiology Technologist II at Sollis Health, you will be responsible for the operation of our CT and X-ray equipment, performing diagnostics and ensuring that proper information has been obtained. You will also be trained and certified on how to run lab testing in a CLIA laboratory.

Full Time - 7am - 7pm Saturday and Sunday, also 7p - 7am on Wednesdays - 36 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Receive and review the physician's request for radiographic procedures and identify the patient prior to conducting scans
• Perform Diagnostic Imaging - Cat Scan, X-Ray and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging on a variety of body parts utilizing the appropriate equipment and established standards and procedures
• Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images
• Ensuring images are legibly labeled with correct date and patient identification
• Monitoring the patient's well being and recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action
• Running laboratory tests on our moderate to complex machines under a CLIA license, and helps to perform routine QC’s and other lab requirements
• Utilizing our EMR Athena Health to enter detailed information about the patients ensuring all information is HIPAA compliant
• Updating patient information in our CRM Salesforce
• Performs clerical duties as requested
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program required
• Current License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiographer) in New York State
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Radiography and CT required within 12 months of hire
• Must have at least 1 year of previous experience in both modalities: X-Ray and CT
• Strong knowledge of Siemens technology required

Range: $50-$60 per hour

This is the range of pay for New York City candidates only. Furthermore, actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.
