Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist II to perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures and operate radiographic equipment. You will educate patients, monitor safety, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality images.

The role requires ARRT certification and state licensure, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team. Prior invasive lab experience is a plus, and ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic/x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Educates patients on pre-, during-, and post-procedure instructions.
• Monitors safety and radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Maintains accurate patient records and documentation of charges.
• Ensures equipment checks and proper functioning prior to use.
• Assists with in-service training on radiology equipment and safety.
