Job Summary

Radiology Technologist are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $15,000. (New Hires)

The Radiologic Technologist II works independently and/or assists physicians/APCs in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images in the acute setting. The technologist is responsible for inpatient & outpatient procedures, the emergency room, fluoroscopy, portables, and the operating rooms. Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program. Certification required within 6 months of hire. 2-year/Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year in diagnostic radiology preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)), required. Applicable state licensure as required.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements:
    • Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
    • Knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws.
    • Proper use of personnel monitoring devices.
    • Ensure equipment performance and schedule maintenance.
    • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment properly.
    • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures independently, including intraoperative and mobile procedures.
    • Assist licensed practitioners in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including ERCPs, bronchoscopy, mini-c-arms, post-reductions.
    • Perform mobile imaging including lines, pacers, and neonates.
