Job summary

Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan, seeks a Radiology Technologist for full-time night shift. The role performs diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety, while maintaining compliance with regulations and transmitting images to PACS.

The Radiology Technologist will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to support timely patient care and deliver excellent customer service to patients throughout imaging visits.

Qualifications

• Valid state Radiologic Technologist license and fluoroscopy permit.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Knowledge of PACS and RIS.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification throughout imaging procedures.
• Process, review, and transmit images to PACS for interpretation and storage.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Participate in QA, PI, and QC activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within electronic systems.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care.
• Provide excellent customer service and serve as the primary point of contact for patients during imaging visits.
