Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist I for the West Des Moines area. The role involves performing diagnostic X-ray exams under radiologist supervision, with a focus on patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with potential on-call rotation outside business hours and some weekend/holiday work as department needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.
• Must maintain ARRT registration and Iowa license.

Responsibilities

• Completes diagnostic X-ray exams for all ages across the hospital as needed.
• Performs QC procedures to ensure image quality and safety.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and reports safety concerns promptly.
• Assists in training students and mentoring staff.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and workspace, adhering to safety policies.
