Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with radiation safety standards. The role emphasizes patient identification, exam accuracy and education throughout the imaging process.

Candidates should be ARRT-certified or registry-eligible, with NJ licensure and current BLS certification within three months of hire; RIS/HIS proficiency is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered, or ARRT registry eligible; pass registry within 1 year of hire.
• NJ staff must have current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License and be registered before date of hire.
• Current BLS certification required within three months of hire; history of computer usage experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient and exam and performs diagnostic radiographic services with care and accuracy.
• Maintains continuity of care and educates patients on radiology procedures.
• Demonstrates competency with RIS/HIS modules.
• Contributes to Radiology Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement data gathering.
• Manages equipment and supplies for assigned area and adheres to downtime procedures.
