Job summary

Providence is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Radiology Diagnostic department. The role involves performing radiologic procedures including ER trauma, fluoroscopy, portable and surgical radiography under medical direction.

Required are an accredited radiologic training program, ARRT certification, and a Washington Radiologic Technologist license, with about 6 months' experience or rotation completed. Per-diem, on-site position at Mary Medical Center facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of radiologic procedures including ER trauma, fluoroscopy, portable and surgical radiography.
• Under supervision of Imaging Director or radiologists, ensure patient safety and image quality.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to radiation safety protocols.

Radiology Technologist - Radiology Diagnostic

Under the direction of the Imaging Director or lead and medical direction of the radiologists, performs all phases of radiologic procedures including Emergency Room trauma, fluoroscopy, portable and surgical application of ionizing radiation.

• Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited radiologic training program or equivalent education/experience.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• 6 months X-ray tech experience or completion of PSMMC Imaging Clinical Rotation.

Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Science or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Science.
