Job summary

Providence Newberg Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist for an evening shift (Tue–Fri, 3:00 pm–1:30 am). The role performs imaging examinations with attention to patient needs and radiation safety, ensuring high-quality images and ALARA practices.

The position requires Oregon radiography licensure (or temporary) with ARRT certification within 6 months and BLS. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions.

Full‑Time/Evening Shift - Tuesday - Friday from 3pm‑1:30am

$6,000 Sign‑on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patients unique and/or age‑related needs. Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment in regard for proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration of technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high quality images. Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License (1) Or
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer Temporary License (1)
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Notes: (1) New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
