Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR, is seeking a Radiology Technologist for per diem/variable schedules. The role requires imaging exams per physician orders, careful patient positioning, adherence to ALARA, and minimizing radiation exposure while delivering high-quality images.

Radiology Technologist at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR.

Per Diem/Variable

The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patients unique and/or age-related needs. Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment in regard for proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration of technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high quality images. Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.

Required Qualifications:


  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

  • Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License (1) Or

  • Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer Temporary License (Vendor Managed) (1)

  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Notes:

  • (1) New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
