Sentara Radiology Kempsville NDC in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Full-Time Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under physician supervision, including patient positioning and operation of radiology equipment. Phlebotomy competency may be required; Virginia staff must be licensed Rad Tech and ARRT registry eligible graduates must be registered within 90 days of hire.

Base pay is $30.39–$44.74 per hour, with potential shift differentials and bonuses; comprehensive benefits and a sign-on

Qualifications

• Certification/Licensure: Registered within 90 days of hire; Licensed Rad Tech required in Virginia.
• Phlebotomy competency may be required for labs/sites performing Radiology and Lab.
• Compliance with state and ARRT requirements for radiologic technologists.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging under physician supervision.
• Position patients and operate radiology equipment to obtain quality images.
• Prepare patient room/equipment/medications for procedures and maintain radiology records.
