Job summary

Merit Health River Region Medical Center seeks a Radiology Technologist I to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with emphasis on patient safety and comfort. You will work with radiologists to produce quality images and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, verifying orders, maintaining equipment, and documenting in PACS, with a focus on ALARA and infection control in a fast-paced setting. Full-Time Evenings M-F 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required or eligible.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently with diagnostic-quality images.
• Adheres to ALARA and safety programs to minimize exposure.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and explains procedures for comfort.
• Maintains imaging equipment and supplies, documents in PACS.
• Communicates with staff and physicians to support patient care.
