Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Radiology Technologist I to obtain diagnostic radiographic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort, in collaboration with the care team at Merit Health River Region.

This full-time evening role (3:00 PM–11:30 PM, M-F) requires ARRT certification, state licensure as applicable, and BCLS within 30 days; 0–1 years of clinical radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification and licensure in radiologic technology required or as applicable by state.
• Ability to perform radiographic procedures with high diagnostic quality and safety awareness.
• Experience level: 0-1 years in radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures independently with diagnostic-quality results.
• Adheres to ALARA guidelines and participates in safety programs.
• Prepares patients, verifies identity, and explains procedures for comfort.
• Demonstrates population-appropriate competencies for patient demographics.
• Maintains imaging equipment and ensures supplies and documentation.
• Documents procedures in PACS/RIS and coordinates with radiologists and staff.
