Job summary

El Paso Childrens Hospital Corporation is seeking an Entry Level Diagnostic Imaging Technologist in El Paso, TX. The role performs a wide range of imaging procedures and supports department systems to meet patient care needs.

Qualified candidates will have a 2-year radiologic technology degree, ARRT MRT licensure, and BLS. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hospital-based diagnostic imaging experience.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• ARRT MRT certification and BLS whith American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Performs wide range of Diagnostic Imaging Services procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in Department for procedures. Assists in the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in Diagnostic Imaging Services.

Qualifications: Minimum Position Requirements:

• Work Experience: One (1) year experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a hospital setting preferred.

License/Registration/Certification:

• Texas certified Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT) through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Education and Training:

• Graduate of an accredited radiological technologist program.

Skills:

• Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
