Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality and cost-efficient diagnostic procedures for patients and the department.
• Provide radiology services timely, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
• Organize workflow to prevent delays.
• Assist physicians and medical staff during procedures as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Attend required in-services, annual reviews, and educational programs.
• Maintain knowledge of procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment used in radiology.
• Stay updated on changes in radiology practices.
• Adhere to NMHS/NMMC policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered or eligible for registration by ARRT.
• License as required by the State of Mississippi (MRT) for MS facilities.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy.
• Commitment to continuing education in radiology.
• American Heart Association CPR certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to serve a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
