Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing high-quality, cost-efficient diagnostic procedures.
  2. Providing radiology services in a timely manner.
  3. Organizing workflow to prevent delays.
  4. Assisting physicians and staff during procedures.
  5. Maintaining excellent customer service.
  6. Communicating effectively with patients and staff.
  7. Attending required training and educational programs.
  8. Staying updated on radiology procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment.
  9. Adhering to policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
  10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

  1. Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  2. Registered or registry eligible by ARRT.
  3. State of Mississippi MRT license (if applicable).
  4. Strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy.
  5. Continuing education in radiology.
  6. American Heart Association CPR certification.
  7. Good communication skills.
  8. Serving diverse patient populations.
