Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team. You will perform radiology duties, prepare images for radiologists, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and state rules. The role requires EMR/EHR proficiency and a current radiology certification.

Full- or part-time options are offered with competitive compensation and flexible scheduling. Qualifications include a high school diploma and a radiology diploma or certificate, plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; AND diploma or certificate from an accredited radiology school.
• License: Current State Radiology Certification OR National Radiology License
• Certification: CPR certification from a recognized health organization.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology duties within the scope of practice.
• Prepare and transmit images to the Radiologist for over-read and report over-read results to providers.
• Maintain HIPAA guidelines.
• May scan and task medical record documents for review.
• Maintain clinical supplies and equipment and ensure proper storage of biohazards.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and cleaned between patients.
• Completes instrument cleaning following policy; not performing autoclaves.
• Environmental cleaning and infection control between patient visits.
• Notify Clinic Manager of safety concerns.
• Proficient in EMR/EHR.
• Perform other non-clinical duties as assigned.
