Mary Washington Healthcare Incorporated in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography per physician orders and the department manual. You will prepare patients, position them for exams, acquire high-quality images, and provide them for radiologist interpretation.

This role requires ARRT certification (or registry-eligible with hire-year exam), VA state radiologic license, and BLS. Three years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology; must pass within 1 year of hire.
• Completion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required for outpatient facilities.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Three years relevant experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patients for radiology examinations by verifying orders and patient identities.
• Performs radiology examinations on all patient age groups and maintains competency.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and standards to ensure quality care.
• Maintains a safe environment with radiation safety practices.
• Interacts with students and provides supervision and instruction.
• Monitors inventory of supplies to ensure continuous service.
• Documents patient and procedural data for accurate billing.
• Maintains competency in iSite PACs, syngo, Soarian and related systems.
