Job summary

Frederick Health in Frederick, MD is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiology procedures in a timely and accurate manner following hospital and departmental policies.

You will operate a range of imaging modalities including radiography, fluoroscopy and C-Arm across all ages, under Radiologist supervision, contributing to patient safety and quality care. ARRT certification and MD license are required along with BLS and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Registry required - R.T. (R).
• Current Maryland State Certification required.
• BLS CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of radiologic procedures without close supervision.
• Recognize and respond to contrast medium reactions.
• Handle stressful work during periods of high service demand and low staffing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment problems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development over the life span and assess data reflective of patient status.
• Interpret information to identify age-specific patient requirements.
• Provide care per unit policies and procedures.
• Receive oversight from Radiologist for radiologic procedures.
