OPEN JOB: Radiology Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology
LOCATION:Eureka, California, United States

SALARY: $95,950 to $120,432
FULL-TIME
  • Ideal Candidate
    Has all the required license and certificates and has experience as a hospital-based radiologic technologist for at least a year.

Description
  • Under the direction of the Department Director, supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, and in collaboration with the radiologists, performs advanced technical diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities utilizing age-specific criteria according to department standards.
  • Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
  • Is a technical and clinical role model for less experienced radiologic technologists in the department.
  • Participates in call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department.
  • Travels to and from off-campus locations to perform radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures when requested.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a hospital-based radiographer.
