Qualifications

• ARRT certification required or current eligibility.
• State Radiologic Technologist license (where applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• May complete MA Competency Checklist and function as MA in clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams per department protocols.
• Ensure patient identification, order verification, and exam prep.
• Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff on procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report equipment issues.
• Provide patient education and address concerns; ensure comfort.
