Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging procedures and support other imaging technologists. You will help facilitate smooth patient flow and may work at other campuses as needed.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification and state licensure; BLS is also required. Hospital experience is preferred, with involvement in QA and image processing within the imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
• Radiography (R) by ARRT is required.
• State Licensure required (Texas: MRT by TMB; Louisiana: LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBE; New Mexico: RRT by MIRTP NMED).
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable CHRISTUS competencies.

• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Supports imaging staff and physicians to optimize patient throughput.
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and reports to supervisors.
