Job summary

The Radiology Technologist at CHRISTUS Health will perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other imaging staff, and help manage patient flow. You may work other shifts or campuses as needed and will troubleshoot basic maintenance and QA, while pursuing ongoing education and adhering to imaging competencies.

Requirements include ARRT Radiography, Louisiana LRT or equivalent licensure, BLS, and hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification is required.
• State licensure required: Louisiana LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBE; Texas MRT; New Mexico RRT.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures as assigned.
• Support other imaging technologists and facilitate patient flow.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and participate in QA.
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and quality image capture.
• Adhere to CHRISTUS Health policies and imaging competencies.
