Job summary

Texas Back Institute in Plano, TX seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform radiology procedures, record patient data in the EHR, and support safe, quality imaging care. The role emphasizes patient comfort, continuous skill development, and adherence to the institute's mission and values.

Qualifications include an accredited x-ray program, 2 years of Rad Tech training, and current ARRT license. This is a full-time position with day shifts and no on-call requirements, located in Texas.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree from an accredited x-ray program.
• Two years training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology, basic x-ray experience, and trauma work is required.
• Must have a current ARRT and license in accordance to state regulations.
• Tennessee only: Must be additionally licensed by the state to perform radiologic services in a physician practice or clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely radiology procedures for follow up evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Properly record patient information and maintain EHR.
• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures.
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and x-ray tech skills with support and assistance of outside educational resources.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic / x-ray equipment.
• Assist with general patient care if needed.
• Honor and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements.
