The role emphasizes professional conduct, responsive patient care, and collaboration with radiologists and health-care staff, while minimizing radiation exposure to patients and team members in accordance with standards of practice.

Competenze

• Post high school special training or graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license; ARRT; BLS.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Overview

Under the direction of the Manager and Supervisor and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

• Education:- Post High School Special Training- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
• Licensure/Certification/Registration:- State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license- ARRT- BLSSpecial
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
