UF Health in Leesburg, FL seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision, with a focus on patient safety and minimizing radiation exposure. Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiology program, Florida licensure as Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification, and fluency in English. BLS Special training may be required.

Overview

Under the direction of the Manager and Supervisor and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

• Education:- Post High School Special Training- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
