The technologist collaborates with radiologists and staff to support efficient imaging workflows. Qualifications include ARRT certification, state licensure, and 0-1 years of clinical radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient in radiographic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Experience with EHR and radiology information systems (RIS).
• Ability to operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot basic issues.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures producing diagnostic-quality images.
• Adheres to ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely guidelines to minimize exposure.
• Prepares and IDs patients, explains procedures for comfort and understanding.
• Maintains equipment, cleans work area, and ensures supplies are available.
