Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program required.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of clinical MRI Technologist experience required.
• 1-2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MRI schedules and optimize department workflow.
• Review patient history for MRI safety and pre-scan evaluation.
• Operate MRI and image processing equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Develop and update MRI protocols with radiologists and leadership.
• Prepare and position patients; explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Maintain MRI safety zones and compliance with protocols.
• Monitor inventory and ensure equipment readiness for procedures.
• Conduct image quality checks and support staff development.
• Document clinical history and share findings with radiologist.
