AdventHealth’s Rothman Orthopedics unit in Lake Nona, Orlando, is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time day shift. You will perform radiographic exams, ensure patient safety, and document procedures across departments, including OR and fluoroscopy, while maintaining infection control and PPE standards.

The role requires ARRT RT(R) certification, BLS, 2+ years of experience, and strong communication with patients and staff.

Formación

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
• Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Responsabilidades

• Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
• Obtains and documents patient history and explain procedures.
• Performs radiology duties in all departments and environments, including OR and Fluoroscopy.
• Performs all imaging exams using established protocols and operates all equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.
