Position Overview

This position involves performing various imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, independently, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist physicians, nurses, and staff with imaging procedures and patient care.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams following policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, and notify physicians of results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform testing per policies and regulations.
• Ensure adequate supplies of reagents and consumables.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control on imaging equipment.
• Retain analytic activity records for at least two years.

Other Job Functions

• Perform ER technician duties as needed.
• Travel to facility locations as required.
• Attend staff and mandated meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiology preferred.
• State certification as a radiologic technologist.
• Registered with ARRT in radiography; CT registration preferred, with CT certification required within 12 months in Pennsylvania.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
• 1+ years CT and ER experience preferred.
• Proficiency with imaging equipment and PACS.
• Fluency in English, written and oral.
