Job summary

Avera Granite Falls is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate radiographic and CT equipment to produce clinically diagnostic images as directed by physicians, in a fast‑paced hospital setting.

You will perform procedures accurately and efficiently, review indications, archive images in PACS, and ensure patient safety and compliance with Joint Commission and OSHA standards while mentoring staff and students.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate of completion from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification within 60 Days.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Initiates proper intervention to radiologist when an exam requires attention.
• Reviews indications and reports inappropriate indications to supervisor.
• Archives image data for permanent storage and transmits to radiologist group.
• Maintains department policies, safety, and infection control.
• Mentors staff and students during on-the-job training and rotations.
