Job summary

Harney District Hospital is seeking a Radiological Technologist to join our Radiology team. The role involves performing radiologic exams under a radiologist and collaborating with patients and staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The candidate will pursue CT certification within six months, begin MRI certification thereafter, and may obtain Mammography certification based on department needs, while maintaining ARRT registry and Oregon licensure.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiology training program.
• At least one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Current Oregon licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of radiology principles, practices, and techniques.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, coworkers, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic examinations under the direction of a radiologist.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide coverage outside regular hours.
• Work closely with patients, physicians, and hospital staff to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.
