Atrium Health Lincoln opened a new 101-bed hospital and medical office building at 433 McAlister Road in July 2010. The facility features include:

  • A connection to local history with exterior bricks reclaimed from the Belding-Hausman Mill
  • A 1.2-mile public walking trail around the campus, passing ponds and wooded areas
  • A collaborative art installation titled "A Sense of Place" depicting the evolution of the land into a healing environment

Position Summary: Performs radiographic examinations under minimal supervision, coordinating daily activities including examinations and clerical duties, under the direction of a Radiologist.

Essential Functions:

  • Escort patients, guests, and visitors using ambulatory devices, beds, cribs, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
  • Properly use hospital paging and telephone systems for transport coordination.
  • Assist clinical staff with patient transfers from beds to transport equipment.
  • Transport and orient patients upon admission.
  • Provide directional information and assist with patient registration and transport to departments or clinics.
  • Retrieve, clean, and store transport equipment.

Physical Requirements: Must handle strenuous physical effort assisting patients, manipulate radiographic equipment, and perform physical movements such as bending, twisting, and kneeling. Good vision and hearing are necessary.

Education, Experience, and Certifications: Completion of a formal Radiology Tech Program in an AMA-approved facility, ARRT registration, and BLS certification from AHA. New graduates must be registry eligible and complete registration within one year of hire.
