Atrium Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform various patient care duties and assist in diagnostic exams. This role includes supporting patients during procedures, ensuring safety, and managing administrative tasks. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and relevant coursework in medical imaging.

Job Summary
Performs a variety of patient care duties and other professional activities as needed to facilitate patient care and treatment. Performs under the supervision of a radiology technologist. Assists in monitoring the flow of patient activities in the department.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies. Occasional standing, walking, and sitting during normal operation. Frequently may be required to stretch, bend, twist, squat, or kneel in the daily operation of the assigned clinical area. May be exposed to various physical conditions such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, and being near moving equipment. Use radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure to ionizing radiation, MRI safety, and infection control as dictated by the procedural area.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED with preliminary coursework toward a certificate or degree in a medical imaging field. Clinical experience based on the educational program affiliated with the pursuit of a career in medical imaging; medical clerical skills preferred.
