Atrium Health Kings Mountain, a facility of Atrium Health Cleveland, opened in 1951 as Kings Mountain Hospital. It has earned national recognition for patient care and clinical excellence. In 2015, Kings Mountain was named a Top Rural Hospital by The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit focused on healthcare quality and safety. This 67-bed hospital offers a broad range of services, including 24/7 emergency care, behavioral health, and rehabilitation.
Performs patient care duties and other activities to facilitate treatment, under supervision of a radiology technologist. Assists in managing patient flow within the department.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Requires moderate to heavy lifting, standing, walking, and sitting. May involve stretching, bending, squatting, or kneeling. Exposure to various physical conditions, including moving equipment and walking on hard surfaces. Adheres to radiation safety, MRI safety, and infection control guidelines.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED; coursework toward a medical imaging certificate or degree preferred. Clinical experience related to educational background; clerical skills are a plus.
