Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiological diagnostic procedures as outlined by the Radiologist. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team that makes up Medical Imaging, you will have a significant impact on the improvement of human life.

What you will do in this role:

1. You will prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and setting exposure parameters.
2. You will minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation safety.
3. You will operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare the room with necessary supplies for the procedure.
4. You will ensure a positive patient encounter by maintaining accurate records, scheduling, overseeing patient transportation, ordering supplies, and fostering a healthy work environment.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology (required).
• RT Certification from ARRT (required).
• South Carolina State License: SCRQSA in Radiology (required).
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist (highly preferred).
