Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic team. In this role you will coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, utilize radiation safety devices, maintain equipment, and process films to support high-quality exams.

You will be ARRT certified with current CPR, have a minimum of two years of radiography training, and you will work closely with the team to deliver accurate results in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certified; current license as required by the state.
• Maintains current CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of all radiological equipment; able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofreads, and mails results of the exams.
• Coordinates multiple factors to achieve a quality exam in appropriate timeframe.
• Utilize radiation safety devices.
• Attends departmental in-services and other staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports all malfunctions or breakage appropriately.
