MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a full range of diagnostic imaging exams with fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic systems to support trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine studies.

The role, a 0.88 FTE night shift (Thursday–Wednesday 9:00pm–7:30am), emphasizes independent work within a multidisciplinary health team. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

  • AA degree in imaging or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Registration with Washington Department of Health and ARRT is required or to be completed within the specified timeframe.
  • BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging systems.
  • Support trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic studies as needed.
  • Ensure exams comply with departmental policies and guidelines.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and collaborate effectively with the care team.

Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines. This role utilizes fixed imaging equipment, portable radiography, and fluoroscopic systems to support, trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic exams. The Radiologic Technologist functions as a clinical role model and resource within the hospital, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

FTE: 0.88 Shift: Night Schedule: Thursday - Wednesday 9:00pm - 7:30am

Responsibilities
  • Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
  • May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
  • Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines
  • Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team
Requirements
  • Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
  • X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health permitted but must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist with the State of Washington Department of Health within the (3) three months of hiring.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
  • BLS Certification
