Overview

This position is sign-on bonus eligible.

What You Will Do:

• Perform all duties related to acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of radiographic images under indirect supervision.
• Ensure patient care and safety during radiology procedures.
• Position patients correctly and select appropriate exposure factors.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain history, and address questions.
• Review imaging requests for appropriateness and consult radiologists on questionable orders.
• Take verbal orders and document appropriately in RIS system.
• Maintain records and ensure accurate billing and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with radiologists and work independently with providers outside the department.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and intervene when necessary.
• Guide and mentor junior staff and students as assigned.
• Use supplies and equipment efficiently and maintain certifications and continuing education.

What You Will Need:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered or eligible.
