Schedule: 20 Hours, Days/Evenings, Every Other Weekend, Part-Time, Benefit-Eligible(some shifts could be at satellite locations)
Position Summary:
The Radiology Technologist will perform radiography & angiography procedures under the supervision of the Modality Supervisory Technologist and Modality Medical Director. The Radiology Technologist will:
Perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual.
Meet the technical competency requirements for the position.
Maintain an effective working relationship with all staff.
Participate in professional education programs, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assurance/ improvement activities.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Documented training and experience in radiography
Current BLS certification
Current MassachusettsDPH RadiologicTechnologist Radiography (Full/General) license or ability to obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary license
Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation or eligible for ARRT certification
Imaging acquisition, processing, reviewing, sending, and retrieving equipment (hardware and software); Hospital information system equipment (hardware and software); Communication equipment (e.g., fax, telephone, email, etc.).
Ability to use computers
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Ability to hear and respond to staff and patient needs
Ability to physically position patients
Ability to manipulate imaging equipment
