Schedule: 20 Hours, Days/Evenings, Every Other Weekend, Part-Time, Benefit-Eligible (some shifts could be at satellite locations)

Position Summary:

The Radiology Technologist will perform radiology & angiography procedures under the supervision of the Modality Supervisory Technologist and Modality Medical Director. The Radiology Technologist will:

  • Perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual.
  • Meet the technical competency requirements for the position.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with all staff.
  • Participate in professional education programs, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assurance/improvement activities.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Documented training and experience in radiography.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist (Full/General) license or ability to obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary license.
  • Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation or eligible for ARRT certification.
  • Proficiency with imaging equipment (hardware and software), hospital information systems, and communication tools.
  • Ability to use computers.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Ability to hear and respond to staff and patient needs.
  • Ability to physically position patients.
  • Ability to manipulate imaging equipment.
