Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment, position patients, and produce diagnostic images for clinical assessment. The role supports radiologists with contrast administration and patient care, with participation in emergency call rotations.

Eligible candidates will have BLS within 30 days and ARRT-R within 1 year. Vocational training or equivalent experience is acceptable for the required qualification.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Vocational schooling or equivalent work experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Review exams for technical accuracy and correct anatomical orientation on images.
• Assist radiologists in administering medications, contrast agents, and patient care.
• Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.
