We are looking for talented professionals to join our team at University of Maryland Medical Center. Come elevate your skills and experience by working with a world-class 800-bed, Magnet-designated Academic Medical Center.

General Summary:
As a Radiographer, you will provide a full range of comprehensive diagnostic imaging and treatment services throughout the University of Maryland Medical Center. You will work closely with other medical and surgical staff in a state-of-the-art, all-digital PACS environment. Under general supervision, perform a variety of routine and specialized technical procedures applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnostics.

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks:

The following statements describe the general nature and level of work performed by personnel in this classification. They are not exhaustive of all duties.

  • Clinical Practice Patient Care - Operates technical equipment and applies ionizing radiation to patients according to standard procedures and departmental policies.
  • Demonstrates competence in fluoroscopy, pediatrics, trauma, OR procedures, emergency x-ray, orthopedic clinic, portable radiography, and diagnostic imaging.
  • Performs processing and other technical tasks as required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered or eligible for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
  • CPR certification is required.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $30.85 - $46.30 per hour
