Job description

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention.

Pay range: $40.32 - $60.48

In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic exams utilizing fixed diagnostic radiology equipment and portable x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment on patients across multiple units (inpatient, emergency, surgery, SPU, and pain management).

Our Radiology Technologists serve as role models and resources to many in the hospital. Your work requires collaboration as part of a team and independently. You may be scheduled for standby on a rotational or seniority basis for after-hours and holiday coverage to meet department needs.

Part Time / Evening Shift

0.4 FTE / 16 hours per week

Saturday-Sunday

Qualifications
  • Minimum of an Associate degree from an accredited radiology program required. Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.
  • Must be ARRT registry eligible upon hire and have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program AND registered with the State of Washington as an X-Ray Technician (XT).
  • Acquire ARRT certification within 6 months of employment as a Radiologic Technologist I. Annual renewal of ARRT is required by Overlake Hospital, with evidence verified by primary source.
  • Obtain Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) within three months of ARRT certification. Biannual renewal of RT license is required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence verified by primary source.
  • Healthcare Provider level CPR required upon hire.
